Pre finished Floorboards use the latest finishing technology and machinery around so you can fit and use them straight away. If you are fitting onto existing floor boards or a dry level concrete screed, plywood or chipboard you will be able to choose from both ranges. The Solid Wood Flooring Range shows the same Species and colours that are available in the engineered hardwood flooring range. Except for the new hand scrapped boards which are exclusive to the solid wood flooringrange. The boards are given an aged appearance by scrapping the surface of the board. The Solid Wood Flooring boards are available in random lengths from approx 600mm to 2.70m with the majority of longer lengths. All boards are tongue and grooved all the way around to give a closer fit. Pre sealed boards show a bevel along the 2 sides which help when fitting on uneven surfaces. This will also give the board a more planked effect. Unsealed boards are available square edge for a close fit or bevel edge to give the plank effect. These boards can then be sanded and sealed in situ to archive your own individual bespoke look.
