Oak Doors Ledge and Brace Kits Hinge and Handle Character Unsealed
The Traditional Internal Plank Cottage Style of Solid Oak Ledge & Braced doors are made from a rustic grade oak, which shows off all the oak character i.e. knotting and colour. All knots can be filled by the customer if required. This door is supplied in kit form so you can make them to suit any shaped door standard width sizes 2’6’’& 2'9''. The door will need to be sealed on completion we recommend using the Granwax Sealers Wax Oil or the Osmo Wax Oil Natural Wood range which helps to protect the doors from moisture and every day wear and tear.All boards are seasoned and kiln dried to a specification of 8 - 12% moisture content to minimize movement.The doors will also come with a pair of Black 18" T Hinges and a 8'' long Suffolk Latch in the Beanhead design which has a smooth, rounded handle and softly rounded ends which complements the T hinge. Both are from our handforged ironmongery range showing a natural beeswax matt finish and include all screws. These are sure to add a true traditional hand crafted look to any door.
